Service · Network Infrastructure

The network under it all, run right.

Firewalls, switching, Wi-Fi, and servers — installed clean, monitored constantly, and priced openly as hardware as a service. No capital outlay, no guessing what a replacement costs.

What's included in network infrastructure?

Network infrastructure covers everything between your internet connection and your users' devices: the firewall, the switches, the Wi-Fi access points, and any on-premises servers. We design it, install it, and manage it as hardware as a service — you pay a flat monthly rate per device instead of a large capital purchase every five years.

Why hardware as a service instead of buying outright?

Because a firewall you own becomes your problem the day it's end-of-life, under-licensed, or simply too slow for your traffic. Under hardware as a service, we own the equipment, keep the firmware and licensing current, and swap it out when it needs replacing — all inside the monthly rate you already know.

Managed firewall — $100/month

Enterprise firewall hardware with rule management, firmware updates, and monitoring included. This is the perimeter control most compliance frameworks (FTC Safeguards, HIPAA) explicitly require documentation for — we keep that documentation current as part of the service.

Network switching — $50/month per switch

Managed switches with VLANs and segmentation, so guest traffic, security cameras, and production systems don't share a broadcast domain. Configuration and firmware are handled remotely; we don't wait for something to break to check on it.

Wi-Fi access points — $20/month per AP

Business-grade wireless with proper coverage planning, not a single consumer router bolted to the wall. Multiple access points hand off seamlessly as people move through the building, with separate SSIDs for staff and guest traffic.

Rack & UPS — $15/month

A proper enclosure and battery backup for on-site equipment, so a brief power blip doesn't take down the firewall, switches, and any local server in one shot.

Backup NAS — $85/month

On-site network-attached storage for local backup targets, configured as part of a broader backup and disaster recovery plan — not a lone external drive someone has to remember to rotate.

Managed servers — $79/server/month

Administration for on-premises servers — patching, monitoring, configuration — plus an optional protection suite at $40/server/month for endpoint protection and hardened monitoring. This runs alongside our per-user managed IT rate, not instead of it.

Hosted VoIP — from $75/month

3CX-hosted phone systems: $75/month for small deployments (up to 25 users) or $125/month for medium deployments (26-50 users), plus $5/user for extensions and $10/month per desk phone if you want physical handsets instead of a softphone.

What if I already have a network someone else built?

Most new clients do. We audit the existing setup, document what's actually running, and replace or reconfigure what's failing on a schedule you control — not during an outage. If the current gear is fine, we manage it as-is rather than ripping it out for the sake of it.

How does this fit compliance requirements?

Regulated firms (accounting, financial advisory, insurance, law, medical, mortgage, title, manufacturing) usually need to document network segmentation, firewall rules, and access controls for FTC Safeguards, HIPAA, SEC/FINRA, NAIC, or GLBA audits. Because we own and manage the hardware, that documentation is a byproduct of how we already run it, not a separate project.

Do you sell hardware or lease it?

Hardware as a service — you don't buy a firewall, switch, or access point outright. We own it, license it, monitor it, and replace it when it fails or falls behind. You pay a flat monthly rate and it's covered.

What does a managed firewall cost?

$100/month, hardware as a service. That includes the appliance, firmware and rule management, and monitoring. Switches run $50/month, Wi-Fi access points $20/month, and a rack with UPS is $15/month.

Do you manage servers too?

Yes — $79/server/month for administration, plus $40/server/month for the protection suite (patching, monitoring, endpoint protection). That's separate from the per-user $150/month rate, which covers user devices and support.

How is this different from your base managed IT plan?

The $150/user/month base covers monitoring, security, patching, and help desk for user devices. Network infrastructure (firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi, servers, backup NAS) is priced as separate hardware as a service add-ons, because not every client needs the same gear.

Can you replace a network we didn't design?

Yes. Most new clients arrive with someone else's network. We audit what's there, segment it properly, and replace what's failing on a schedule you can plan around instead of an emergency truck roll.

Do you support VoIP phones?

Yes — hosted 3CX starting at $75/month for small deployments (up to 25 users) or $125/month for medium (26-50 users), plus $5/user for extensions and $10/month per desk phone.
